Configuring a Project to Use the DMCDB

Each project can be configured to record its operations and status in the DMCDB. This is available for Liquibase Enterprise version 7.0 or higher.

DMCDB Connection Information Required

Before proceeding obtain the connection information for your DMCDB from your Deployment Monitoring Console (DMC) administrator or by following the instructions in the DMC documentation here: Register your Project with DMC

Open a Datical Project and select the Settings Tab.
Expand the DMCDB Database Section and click 'Configure DMCDB'
Fill out the connection information for the DMCDB and click Test Connection to verify that everything was entered correctly.
DMCDB is Postgresql ONLY

We strongly recommend to use runtime credentials because it is more secure than stored credentials (due to the possibility of the stored password being decoded).
Click 'Finish' Datical DB will register the project in the DMCDB.
